About the photographer

Hey there! I’m Sheldon, the face behind Sheldon Nicole Photography. I started photography when I was in 8th grade and filed as an LLC in 2020 just after I graduated high school. I recently graduated from Calvin University, where I studied mathematics and secondary education with a minor in business. Starting this August, I will be a 6th grade math teacher! I love the beach, shopping, sunshine, lattes, math, and, of course, photography. I am also a firm believer in Jesus Christ. I thank God for this amazing skill of photography that He has given me and the ways it has blessed my family and how it has allowed me to bless others by capturing some of the most important life milestones.

I am married to the best dude out there, Jared. We met back in 2019 through a mutual friend who set us up (thanks, Anna!) and connected immediately. We love to hang out with our dog, Louie, play Pubg or Settlers of Catan, watch The Office, and be with family. He is the biggest supporter of my business (and everything else I do) and even does some of the behind-the-scenes stuff with me. He’s just the best.
